EclipseCon 2009 Open for Registration

Registration for EclipseCon 2009 is now open. EclipseCon will be held March 23-26 in Santa Clara, CA. The "Very Early" registration price is availabe until December 31 and gives a 40% discount off the onsite price. A single fee provides access to the entire conference.

Reminder: Register for Eclipse Banking Day in NYC

Remember to register for Eclipse Banking Day in NYC on December 9, 2008. This is a day-long event for senior technical developers, architects and managers in the finance industry to learn how to better leverage Eclipse technology and the Eclipse community as part of their development strategy. Attendees will have the chance to hear speakers from Morgan Stanley, J.P. Morgan, RBC Capital and UBS plus experts from the Eclipse community. Attendees must be employees or contractors of a financial institution. There is no cost to attend but pre-registration is required. -
"Better than MovieOS" Contest - Submit by Nov. 17

Eclipse community members are invited to display their Photoshop and Gimp skills by taking a still frame from a movie or TV show, and replacing the MovieOS with a screenshot of an Eclipse IDE running plugins, an RCP or SWT application, or even a mobile OSGi application. The top 5 entries will receive Eclipse wear. Submit your entry by attaching it to bug 252135 by November 17 at 4:00 pm EST.

Eclipse RCP Training: Mt. Laurel

The next Eclipse training class is November 17-20: Basic RCP in Mt. Laurel, NJ. Please sign up if you would like to understand how to implement your own application based on Eclipse RCP. The course will explain the core frameworks in Eclipse, the plug-in architecture, extension points and scenarios for building on the common configurations of Eclipse technology.
